Lunch Monitor 

Union Elementary School District is seeking dependable and caring Lunch Monitors to help provide a safe and positive environment for students during lunch and recess.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lunch and recess.
• Assist students in the cafeteria as needed, including seating, spills, and meal routines.
• Help maintain an orderly, safe, and positive lunchroom environment.
• Reinforce school rules and expectations.
• Monitor student safety and respond to minor incidents or emergencies.
• Report student concerns or incidents to appropriate school staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively with students and staff.
• Dependable, attentive, and able to communicate respectfully.
• Must successfully complete required criminal background/fingerprint clearance.
• Previous related experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule: Part-Time
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
