Safely transport students along assigned routes and to school activities.
Ensure student safety during loading, unloading, and transportation.
Monitor student behavior and reinforce transportation safety expectations.
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain assigned buses in a clean and safe operating condition.
Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, and road hazards.
Complete required transportation, inspection, mileage, and incident records.
Communicate transportation information with students, parents, and staff as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Job-related driving experience.
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Bus Driver’s Certificate.
CPR/First Aid certification.
Must pass required AZDOT physical and drug testing requirements.
Must successfully complete criminal background/fingerprint clearance.
Ability to safely work with and communicate effectively with school-age students.
